Licensed Associate Marriage & Family Therapist
Background
One of the toughest parts about going to therapy is actually starting it in the first place. Thank you for your bravery and trust in this process. I look forward to being a part of your journey toward healing and growth. My goal is to offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore what’s been weighing on you and begin to feel more grounded and hopeful. I believe you are the expert of your own life—you already have the strengths and wisdom to create change. I enjoy building a collaborative experience where we can work together to discover strengths, achieve goals, and find new meaning.
I work with individuals and couples from all walks of life and am especially passionate about helping couples understand the patterns that keep them disconnected and learn how to rebuild closeness. I primarily utilize Emotionally Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy in my work with individuals. I am also trained in EMDR therapy to help clients safely process and heal from trauma and painful past experiences.
I received my Master's of Advanced Study in Marriage and Family Therapy from Arizona State University. I am currently under clinical supervision working towards independent licensure.
